Conference Day 1

Friday, November 5 and Saturday, November 6, 2021

KEYNOTE: A Strengths Based Approach to Invitational Education

What better approach to invite students and educators to know, understand, and develop their talents and strengths to improve performance, well-being, and quality of life? Invitational Education links naturally to one’s strengths and together they create a powerful recipe for connection, encouragement, and personal growth. Both call on us to look for “what’s strong, not what’s wrong."

Jim Mahoney, Presenter

KEYNOTE: Flourishing with Invitational Education: Ready, Set, S.W.I.N.G.!

Using lessons learned from the pandemic, Invitational Education is needed now more than ever for learning, leading, and living in flourishing ways. Moving beyond getting ready with the three foundations, and getting set with the I-CORT stance, it is time to get into the S.W.I.N.G. of positive possibilities with Sincerity, Wisdom, Ingenuity, Negotiation, and Glee. Remember, "it don't mean a thing if you don't take that S.W.I.N.G!"
